As mentioned before, weโre working on NorthDrop, a new local delivery app designed for Mangawhai and the surrounding community.
The website is now up and running, and you can already sign up as:
๐ A restaurant
๐ช A local business
๐ A driver
Weโre not taking or assigning delivery jobs just yet. Right now, the goal is to build our network and collect registrations from local businesses, restaurants and drivers who are interested in using NorthDrop.
If youโre a restaurant or business that would like to offer delivery, sign up now and add your business details.
If youโre a driver who would like to make some extra money, help local businesses and contribute to our community, sign up as a driver and register your interest.
The idea is simple:
๐ The customer chooses delivery and pays for it.
๐ The restaurant or business puts the delivery job up for grabs.
๐ A local driver accepts the job and delivers it.
The more restaurants, businesses and drivers we have registered, the easier it will be to get NorthDrop fully up and running.
๐ฏ Our goal is to have NorthDrop operating in Mangawhai by summer!
There are definitely going to be some bugs and things weโre still working on โ so donโt worry too much about delivery pricing or some of the details on the website just yet. This is the first step.
Right now, what we really need is people to sign up and show their interest.
