Developed and each bag handmade & packed by a group of innovative year 13 Business Study students.

It's really great to see our young generations taking such initiatives and turn them into actions, we absolutely love what they've made and we want to give them our best support to see them grow, and so do you!πŸ‘

This Winter Menu is all about stepping up and refining our offers on your brunch options.
We continue to serve our pasta range with a swap from linguine to fresh thick ribbon Pappardelle that picks up the pasta sauce perfectly.

Here is the New Pasta Dish:

Beef Ragu Pappardelle.

Fresh pappardelle pasta, slow-braised Wagyu beef cheek ragu, crushed tomatoes, pangrattato, aged parmigiana, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil.

Traditional, Bold and Flavorful.

Other pasta options are available as below:
- Creamy Mushroom & Bacon Pappardelle
- Chilli Prawn Pappardelle
- Creamy Mushroom & Peas & Spinach Pappardelle (vegetarian)

The best way to eat it is to share, please don't keep your dish to yourself.

We've finally included Risotto in our menu and here is what we have on offer for this season's menu:

- Wild Mushroom Risotto:
(A bowl of deep, earthy flavour)

Truffle butter toasted Aborio, simmered in housemade vege broth, sauteed wild mushrooms, peas, aged parmigiana, truffle oil, fresh greens.

- Prawn Risotto:
Slow cooked Aborio, pan-seared white wine glazed prawns, braised tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, roquette and parmigiana.

We are open throughout the Anzac Day Long Weekend, Sat - Mon (8am - 3pm), No Public Holiday Surcharge as usual. ✨

Also, this weekend will be the last weekend we are serving the 2026 Spring / Summer Menu.

We are starting the serve the new Autumn / Winter menu from the 1st of May, if you haven't got a chance to try our Summer Salad, Orange Blossom French Toast and Grilled Market Fish, this would be the last week before the new menu kicks in :)

Meet Joe, our headchef.

Being partly Italian and growing up in Southern Brazil where food and culture are deeply rooted, his childhood memory of food comes from the fresh pasta hand rolled by his nonna, fresh bread made by his grandma, salami and cheese from their neighbor's houses.

"We all know which house down the street has the best salami, cheese or pasta, we order from neighbors, because often their nonnas have the best recipes that beats the market food."

Tradition and heritage are huge parts in Joe's culinary journey, he believes the labour you put in making the food shows a great deal of respect towards locally grown ingredients, he is our pioneer of made from scratch process and small batch fresh makings.

"I don't really follow the hype and trend, I want to serve the kind of food that makes you feel like you're at home, in your grandma's kitchen, because that's where I grew up in. Authenticity will always be the biggest part for me here, in the kitchen."

Meet Vikki.

Vikki comes from a duo background of business and art. It all started in the infamous covid lockdown, she was remote working more than ever. That's the time she would late night bake a tray of anything after a 12 hours sit down in front of the computer to take her mind off work.

And that's where all the bakings began, she's a self-taught baker with lots of trials and errors behind the scene.

She enjoys sketching, thriller fictions, Tim Burton movies, piano, a nice sunset beach walk and biggest of all, creating cakes!

She runs behind our cake brand and is responsible for the unique cakes and Patisserie items you see in our cabinet.

Sage & Brew is Vikki's first experience in Hospitality, also her happy place to be her authentic self and doing the creative things she loves the most.
Doesn't matter busy or quiet, she always enjoys a nice chat and get to know you or your puppies! :)

Meet Our Team!!πŸ‘πŸ‘

Here is Rory.

Rory came to New Zealand in October from Canada, looking to explore a new country and expand his opportunities. He's been at Sage & Brew since December, and his favorite dish on our menu is the Bacon Benedict. Outside of the cafe, Rory is a stand up comedian who has been performing for over 15 years, and will be releasing his first special later this year. Make sure you say hi, and catch one of his shows while he's visiting our country!

We absolutely love his sense of humour that brings so much daily laughter and fun moments to our everyday routine, besides, his Eggs Bene is almost always perfectly cooked!! :)

News keeps rolling, the tension seems to be building high before it drops.

In times like this, we just genuinely want to say a thank you, to you all, for still coming in to support us.

In the midst of the uncertainties out there, we know each one of you has your own fair share of stress to deal with, it's not easy for anyone.

Thank you for keeping us in mind, thanks for checking on us, we really appreciate it. We will keep doing what we do on a daily basis and knowing this would all eventually pass.
