To get to this place in Auckland by public transport, you can take the bus or train to the nearest station. From there, head south and then turn left onto the main street. The location is just a few blocks down on your right-hand side.
If you prefer to drive, take the motorway and exit at the city center. Then follow the signs towards a major park. You should see it on your left-hand side after a few turns. There's plenty of parking available in nearby lots or street parking if you're lucky.
