We at Suzie's are all about supporting other local businesses, especially when they do awesome stuff to give back to the community! 👍👍👍

Our friends at BOXFIT STUDIO and TeamFoleys are taking part in the "Pushups 4 Foodbanks" challenge to raise funds and awareness for their local food banks. A great example of how we can all show up for those in our communities who most need it, especially now.

We are raising money for the Salvation Army Foodbanks by calling people across NZ to join us in doing over 1million push ups. Begins 6/07/20 - Givealittle is the place to donate and fundraise for causes and charities online.

Hi everyone - hope the transition to Level 2 is going well for you and your families!

We gave a lot of thought to opening up our dine-in service again, and understand some of you were looking forward to this. However, taking onboard the feedback we've received on everyone's general comfort level, we've decided to take a "play it safe" approach and continue with contactless pickup only for now. We appreciate your understanding, and will let you know as soon as this changes.

On another note - did you know we sell frozen dumplings as well? These are available for all our menu options, for $1 less than the menu price. Ring us on (09) 534 0888 to place an order. 🥟🥟🥟

Hi everyone - like you, we're really excited about the move to Alert Level 2 on Thursday 14/05! While it would be great to see you all again, health and safety is still paramount to us (both yours and our staff's).

Bearing this in mind, we ask that you please continue to use our contactless order/pick-up system: give us a call on (09) 534 0888, place your order, make an online payment, and come to collect your food. This way, you can avoid a queue, and we can keep everyone safe and happy as we work to ensure the highest standards for Level 2.

For now, we're working towards Tuesday 19/05 to make dine-in available to you again. We'll keep you updated closer to the time.

Hi everyone - this post is a little more personal, since today is an opportunity to acknowledge my mother (AKA Suzie to you guys).

Thanks Mum, for teaching me everything I know about hard work, resilience, and keeping positive - not to mention how to make the best pork and chive dumplings in the world (don't worry, I won't spoil the secret). 😉

Hi everyone! You've shown us so much support since we re-opened, and now we want to pay it forward for the people helping to keep our country and communities going. Our healthcare workers, cleaners, supermarket staff, security guards, emergency/first response staff, police officers and more - AKA our amazing Essential Workers!

From Tuesday 05/05/2020 to Sunday 17/05/2020 (two weeks), we'll be offering an Essential Workers Lunch Special just for you guys.

- $10 for 20 dumplings - cooked to your preference, or
- $5 for 10 dumplings - cooked to your preference

Simply ring us to place your order for an Essential Workers Lunch Special, and show us your essential worker ID when you come to pick it up. It's as easy as that!

Hi everyone - here's an exciting update: now that we're going into Level 3 with the rest of the country, Suzie's Dumplings will be re-opening!

We've worked hard to ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standards for you all, as well as making sure all Level 3 business standards are in place.

We'll be operating a no-contact pick-up service during Level 3, so if you're in the mood for a delicious, hot dumpling meal with the cold weather setting in, give us a call on (09) 534 0888. We look forward to hearing from you!
