The year 2020 has become known as an unprecedented year, life as we know will never be the same. The restaurant industry is one of the most exposed industries with major upheavals as a result of this ongoing pandemic.
Online food ordering platforms have become a necessary evil during the pandemic, they are charging restaurants between 20% and a staggering 35% which is taking a huge chunk of the restaurants profits.
We are delighted to introduce Deliver2Me!
Our business concept is quite different to all online food ordering platforms. We want to change the rules of the food delivery industry making it fair and reasonable by providing a comprehensive food delivery service at an unbeatable price of $2.50 flat rate per delivery (regardless the order price) with cutting edge online food ordering technology in a simple app and our own fleet of high visibility yellow scooters specially designed for food delivery.
Deliver2Me is fully backed by its Auckland based parent company 0800SCOOTERS LTD a full-service scooter maintenance, sales, and hire company. We also aim to be the first online food delivery business having all our own delivery agents employed part-time and full-time in the short to medium term.
Such business model involves a large amount of expenses making this project to run at cost.
Our workshop and storage facilities are located in Kelston, therefore we will begin to provide our delivery services to restaurants in New Lynn, Kelston, Glen Eden and Avondale, we are prioritizing "mom and dad owned restaurants" which simply can't afford to give away up to 35% of their profit margins. Later we will be expanding our service area to Mount Eden, St Lukes, Dominion Road, Kingsland and Morningside.
We need your help to reach restaurant’s owners so they can have a more affordable option to deliver their food and you the public can support the local eateries once we get back to 'Level 3'.
