Are you an experienced barista who loves great coffee, good food and providing excellent customer service?
AT 719 Café is looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our team.
We are a busy local café with a strong base of regular customers, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Making quality coffee to a high standard.
* Providing friendly and professional customer service.
* Taking orders and operating POS/EFTPOS.
* Assisting with cabinet food and basic food preparation.
* Keeping the café and coffee station clean, organised and well presented.
* Restocking and assisting with opening and closing duties.
* Working efficiently during busy periods.
* Supporting the team and helping wherever needed.
* Following food safety, hygiene and café procedures.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous barista/café experience is essential.
* Must be available to work weekends.
* Good coffee knowledge and barista skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Positive attitude and professional presentation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Comfortable working in a busy café environment.
* Willingness to learn, take feedback and improve.

To get to Whangaparaoa Road in Whangaparaoa, you can take the Northern Express Bus from Auckland CBD and get off at the Albany Bus Station. Then transfer to the 982 or 983 bus and get off at the Hibiscus Coast Station on Whangaparaoa Road. From there, walk south for about 10 minutes to reach your destination.
If driving, take State Highway 1 north and exit at Silverdale. Follow signs for Whangaparaoa Road and continue straight until you reach your destination. Parking is available on site.
