Well, have we got a treat for you!
Thanks to Penlink, we’ve now got some of the finest diggers, trucks and heavy machinery on the Hibiscus Coast working right on our doorstep!
And since they’re not going anywhere in a hurry, we figured we might as well make the most of it! 🍻
Grab yourself a cold drink, kick back in the sunshine and let the kids enjoy our brand-new sandpit while watching the professionals play in their slightly bigger one! 😂

With the Penlink roadworks underway, the usual entrance to The Archer from Whangaparāoa Road is temporarily closed.
But don’t worry, we’re still open and it’s business as usual!
🚗 Coming from Silverdale? Access The Archer via Beverley Road.
🚗 Coming from Gulf Harbour? Follow the diversion via Totara Road, Kauri Road and Brightside Road, then onto Beverley Road.

The Archer Bar & Bistro in Stanmore Bay is looking for an experienced Commis Chef to join our growing kitchen team.
We’ve had a busy year and are continuing to strengthen our kitchen team, so we’re looking for another experienced chef to come on board.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience working in a busy commercial kitchen
• Is reliable, organised and comfortable working under pressure
• Takes pride in food quality and presentation
• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
• Is available across days, evenings and weekends
This would suit a chef looking for a busy, hands-on role with the opportunity to continue building their skills and experience.
Previous commercial kitchen experience is essential.
