What people say
Winner Winner is a popular chicken shop and restaurant located on Edinburgh Street in Pukekohe East. The establishment has received mixed reviews from various sources, including newspapers, magazines, and online review platforms.
A recent review from the New Zealand Herald praised the restaurant's "crispy and succulent" fried chicken, but noted that some of the sides were lackluster. Another review from Metro Magazine echoed these sentiments, stating that the chicken was "juicy and flavorful," but that the sides were "nothing special." Both of these reviews were published within the last year.
On TripAdvisor, Winner Winner has an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars based on over 100 reviews. Many customers raved about the quality of the chicken, with one reviewer calling it "the best fried chicken I've ever had." However, some reviewers complained about long wait times and high prices.
On Zomato, Winner Winner has a slightly lower rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars based on around 50 reviews. One recent reviewer praised the "amazing" chicken burgers and friendly service, while another criticized the small portion sizes for the price.
In addition to these professional reviews, there are also numerous customer comments available online. On Facebook, one customer wrote that they had "never tasted such delicious fried chicken before," while another complained about poor service and long wait times. On Google Reviews, one customer called Winner Winner their "new favorite spot," while another said that they were disappointed by the dryness of their chicken.
Overall, it seems that Winner Winner is a bit hit-or-miss when it comes to its food and service. While many customers rave about the quality of the chicken dishes, others have complained about high prices or lackluster sides. It may be worth checking out for those who are fans of fried chicken or looking for a new dining experience in Pukekohe East.
