I lost my father on Father’s Day ❤️🩹
It’s with a heavy heart that we share the passing of my dad, Ronnie.
He was more than my father. He was my hero, my business mentor and my best friend.

When FREE Burgers aren't Good Enough 😢😂
Last night, a group was told there’d be a 45-minute wait, took 15 minutes to order, then complained about the 45 minutes they had to wait and absolutely everythingggg else 😅
They also complained they were overcharged because their Kids’ Meal wasn’t free 🙄
Then, instead of messaging us, they left 3 x one-star reviews...
It was the very first night of our promotion (which they knew). We got slammed and had a few teething issues, but come on now 😂
Glad you won’t be coming back! 👋
Thank you to everyone else who is absolutely awesome and showed us patience and kindness. Our incredible team even stayed up until midnight last night discussing how to smash this month 💯

IT’S OUR 6TH BIRTHDAY! 🍔🎉
Six years ago, we opened our first burger shop in East Tamaki & named it after my boy Jax 🐕😅
Since then, thousands of customers have walked through our doors. We’ve opened a second store, expanded our staff family, had three beautiful kids, and grown Jax into a true kiwi business 🇳🇿
We couldn’t have done it without all of you who have supported us along the way!!!

WE’RE SORRY 💛
We’ve recently received a few complaints that the food from our Westgate store hasn’t been as great as usual.
I’ve had to step away due to a serious family emergency. At the same time, our manager was overseas and we’ve had new team members undergoing training.
That explains what happened, but it doesn’t excuse it. You work hard for your money and deserve a great meal every time 💯
Our manager is now back, and I’ll be returning as much as I can while continuing to support my family.
We’re genuinely sorry. If your recent meal wasn’t up to standard, we hope you’ll give us another chance to deliver the Jax quality you know and love.
Your thoughts, prayers and understanding mean a lot. We promise to lift our game because you guys deserve the best, and as you know our track record has shown that 💛

To get to Ormiston Road East Tamaki in Auckland, you can take public transport by taking the 580 bus from Britomart Transport Centre and getting off at the stop near Highbrook Drive. From there, you can walk towards Ormiston Road and find the restaurant.
If you prefer to drive, take the Southern Motorway (SH1) towards East Tamaki and exit at Highbrook Drive. Turn right onto Highbrook Drive and then left onto Business Parade South. Continue straight until you reach Ormiston Road, where you'll need to turn right. The restaurant should be on your left-hand side.
There is street parking available near the restaurant, or alternatively, there is a car park available at nearby Highbrook Business Park.
