KUNTHAL THEGA KOTHU.

Another regional story from India, brought to the GOAT table.

Squid, coconut, shallots, curry leaves, green chilli, black pepper.

Bold, unfamiliar and exactly the kind of food we love exploring.

Today we celebrate Monica. ❤️

Behind every GOAT, there’s a Monica.

The support, the strength, the calm in the chaos and, as Sid very seriously tried to say… “the force behind the ride.” 😂

Watch till the end as this serious birthday message takes a turn.

Turns out she’s been driving this thing all along.

Happy Birthday to the woman behind so much of what GOAT is today.

Happy Birthday, Monica ❤️

TWO YEARS - TWO HATS - ONE PROUD GOAT

Last night, GOAT by Sid Chopra was awarded Two Hats at the Cuisine Good Food Awards.

We built GOAT with a clear purpose: to showcase regional Indian food with pride, personality and absolutely no compromise. Every service, every plate and every detail has demanded hard work from a team that believes deeply in what we are doing.

To have that work recognised with Two Hats makes us incredibly proud.

This belongs to our entire kitchen and front-of-house family. To our suppliers, our guests and everyone who continues to back GOAT, thank you.

A special thank you to K E L L I B R E T T , Kerry Tyack Cuisine Magazine and cuisinegoodfood for creating such an important platform that celebrates the people shaping New Zealand hospitality.

Two years. Two Hats. And we are only getting stronger.

2 YEARS OF GOAT 🐐

Two years of hard work, big moments, long days, proud memories… and a few bloopers along the way 😂

Today we celebrate everything that happens behind the scenes before the final plate hits the table.

A huge thank you to every guest who has walked through our doors, supported us, come back, told a friend and been part of our journey.

And to every member of our team, past and present, thank you for putting your heart into GOAT and helping shape what it is today.

Happy 2nd Birthday, GOAT.
Still hungry. Still pushing. Still GOAT. 🐐❤️

August is here, and so is Restaurant Month.

This year, we’ve created a menu that tells the story of India through its regions, one course at a time.

From the streets of Delhi with our Dahi Chaat Bomb, to the pepper-laced flavours of Tamil Nadu, the coastal spices of Kerala, the royal kitchens of Kashmir, and comforting classics from Old Delhi and Bengal, every dish has a place and every plate has a story.

Choose your own main, gather around the table, and experience the regional flavours that inspire everything we do at GOAT.

Restaurant Month Menu

$75 per person
Optional cocktail pairing $49
Available throughout August
