Heads up people, The Kitchen Door will be closed from the 22nd of September until the 4th of November as we are going overseas for a bit of a rest!

So sage advise, come and get some frozen stocks of your favorite pasties and pies 😉.

So have a look at what we have been up to this week at The Kitchen Door.

My tandoor oven which converts to a good cold smoking chamber due to its thick clay wall. Smoking our home produced bacon and some Stuart island salmon. Also Foccacia breads for our bacon butties. We are open Tuesday through Sunday and located at the beautiful .

To reach the bakery and cafe, take public transport to Whangaparaoa Road. From there, it is just a short walk towards Gulf Harbour. Alternatively, one can drive along Whangaparaoa Road until they see signs for Gulf Harbour. Parking is available on the side streets nearby.
