Did you know, Originally, dahi puri was a “leftover rescue”—vendors filled the crisp puris with curd and chutneys to reuse what was left from pani puri, turning waste into a delicious new snack.

Come and try it out at Chaat Street. It’s incredibly delicious, and as they say, those who know, know.

We’re proud to support this season, joining New Zealand restaurants to help raise funds for food banks across Aotearoa. DineAid is a nationwide initiative where every dollar goes directly to local City Missions, reaching families in need just in time for the holidays.

How does it work?

From November 1 to December 31, we’ll be adding a voluntary $3 donation to every table’s bill—100% of which is donated straight to DineAid’s Christmas campaign. If you’d prefer not to participate, please let our team know and we’ll happily remove it, no questions asked. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference, especially during tough times when food banks are under extra pressure.

DineAid donations help provide food parcels to families throughout Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch, supporting nearly 140 locations nationwide. Last year, this initiative raised $60,000, thanks to the generosity of people like you.

Let’s give back together—one meal at a time! Thank you for being part of a movement that makes such an important impact in our local community.
