Are you aiming to be healthier in this lockdown but still craving something sweet? Our berry and banana smoothie is not only fresh and nutritious but is a delicious sweet treat that won't leave you feeling too guilty.
Ingredients
175mls milk
1 cup mixed berries
Half a banana
1 handful of ice
1 teaspoon of honey
Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend till smooth.

Lockdown is the perfect time to try something new in the kitchen! This creamy roast pumpkin soup is delicious and a great recipe to recreate at home.
Ingredients:
500g pumpkin, peeled and diced
10g fresh rosemary
5g fresh thyme
10g garlic crushed
2g cinnamon powder
2g white ground pepper
100g butter, salted
200ml milk
200ml cream
Salt & pepper to taste
Cooking method:
• Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
• Melt the butter in a saucepan at low heat.
• Add the rosemary, thyme and garlic into the pan to cook for about 5 minutes at low heat. This will better infuse the flavours.
• Add cinnamon and white pepper to the butter mixture.
• Add the diced pumpkin and butter mixture to an oven tray and cover with tin foil. Roast in the oven for 60 minutes.
• Combine roasted pumpkin with the cream and milk and blend until you have a smooth consistency.
• Add salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh herbs from the garden.

Looking for a yummy dessert to indulge in? Our decadent chocolate brownie is easy to make and it is sure to lift everyone spirits during this lockdown.
Ingredients:
320g sugar
100g flour
3 eggs
2.5g baking powder
65g cocoa powder
180g butter
Method:
• Preheat the oven to 150 degrees fan bake. Lightly grease and line a shallow tin with baking paper.
• Melt the butter and stir in the cocoa powder.
• Add the eggs one at a time to the wet mixture, beating well after each addition.
• Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder.
• Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until well combined.
• Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake in the oven for approximately 20 mins.
• Leave to cool for 20 minutes before turning out of the tin.

As we find ourselves in lockdown again, our cafe is closed for trading during COVID Alert Level 4.
We know that this time can be incredibly challenging, but taking care of yourself and your mental health is just as important as looking out for others.

Ice cream, chocolate and milk all in one drink. What more could you ask for? Our milkshakes are the perfect treat whether it's 30 degrees out or 10. With so many yummy flavours available you'll have a hard time only choosing one.

Whether it's fried, scrambled or poached you can't beat eggs for breakfast. All our eggs are free-range and locally supplied by our friends at GOOD FARMS. It's due to them that we can create such yummy dishes like this Eggs Benedict with bacon.

Being surrounded by nature every day leads to some amazing menu inspiration. Our roasted beetroot salad with goats feta and pickled onions was inspired by all the delicious root vegetables growing in the garden centre this winter.

In our cabinet, we have a wide variety of items to choose from however our Carrot Cake is definitely our top seller. With a yummy cream cheese icing and candied walnuts sprinkled on top, it's not surprising that it is the most popular item in the cabinet.

Someone once said that coffee is the best medicine and our preferred method of medication is Dr Mojo's Medicine.
