Gluten free days out with my nana mostly means I pack a pre-made lunch as most places don’t cater for gluten free.
My best days out are with my nana.
My first trip to Crystal Mountain, courtesy of my Nana, was an unforgettable experience. I consistently look forward to spending time with my Nana, as our outings are always filled with excitement. The crystal exhibit, featuring elaborate seats and ornaments, was truly breathtaking. A visit to the jewellery shop proved to be a highlight, as my Nana presented me with a stunning stone bracelet and some beautiful stones. Our interactions with the animals were also memorable, as we fed the turkeys and rabbits and got up close to llamas and donkeys. The big red train ride was an absolute thrill. Regrettably, we were unable to see everything and have decided to plan another visit, starting with the museum.

Once the gluten-free gingerbread house is made, we follow up that same evening preparing milk and carrots and/or cookies for Santa and the reindeer.
As we are all in Christmas PJs the night before, we often get some family photos which are usually very calm and easy to do without the distraction of toys from Santa's arrival the next day.

80 yr old GREAT GRANDFATHER of 4 generations LOSES IT WHEN HIS great grandson 1year old twin Steals the GLUTEN FREE Birthday Cake!
He did not wait for his twin brother or the rest of the family to eat cake
He stole cake and is having sugar for his first time.
When the family were not looking Johan decided to help himself to the Gluten free cake we got for the twins.
We were not prepared and we were not expecting that. We were just trying to get photos and videos.
We had no intention of letting the boys smash the cake.
However! one of the twins took matters into his own hands.
First time ever trying sugar
We are strict on sugars and processed food. But we do let them have special occasions freely.
If they get invited to a birthday party we send Gluten free cupcakes with our
children to eat when they cut the cake.
We got this Gluten free cake from the cheese cake factory.

A modest harvest from our small backyard big garden. A very giving and productive backyard garden yielded a bounty that we promptly prepared and cooked. The courgette and Parmesan bake chips were a resounding success with the 3 children, who fiercely competed for them. I am grateful for the considerable effort my daughter Jade invests in our garden.
