Parkside Cafe is a Vietnamese restaurant and Kiwi cafe located on New North Road. Offering delicious All Press coffee and quality Kiwi cafe food during the day, the restaurant transforms into an authentic Vietnamese eatery every Wednesday to Saturday night. While currently closed for dining due to COVID-19 restrictions, they're open for coffee every day from 8 am to 12 pm, and dinner menu is available for pick-up or Uber eats on Thursday to Saturday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. For both the Vietnamese restaurant and the breakfast & brunch restaurant on New North Road in Auckland, there are several options for public transport and driving/parking.
Public Transport:
1. Take the train on the Western line and get off at Kingsland Station. From there, walk south along New North Road for approximately 10 minutes.
2. Take bus number 20 from Britomart Transport Centre and get off at the New North Road/Kingsland Shops stop. From there, walk south along New North Road for approximately 5 minutes.
Driving/Parking:
1. If coming from the north/west, take Great North Road and turn left onto Bond Street (just before Western Springs Stadium). Turn right onto New North Road and continue until reaching your destination.
2. If coming from the south/east, take Mt Eden Road and turn right onto Balmoral Road. Turn left onto Dominion Road then right onto Sandringham Road. Turn left onto New North Road and continue until reaching your destination.
There are several parking options along New North Road including metered street parking and a car park located behind Kingsland Plaza (accessed via Aitken Terrace).
