We are open as per usual this holiday weekend with no surcharge for either us or The Hidden Cafe.

Please note there are rules around the sale of alcohol on Good Friday & Sunday that will require patrons also purchase some delicious food from Alexander and the team 👌

The Hidden Cafe is expanding! Alongside our popular cafe, we have recently launched an exciting new Golf Driving Range and Mini Golf course The Iron Yard. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and experienced Front of House Barista to join our friendly and vibrant team.
What we are looking for:
Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced cafe environment is essential.
Skills: Strong barista skills (consistent milk texturing and latte art) and confident front-of-house service.
Communication: Fluent English is required to provide top-tier service to our diverse community.
Work Rights: Must hold a valid New Zealand work visa or residency.
Reliability: You are a quick worker who is dependable and thrives in a team setting.
The Role & Benefits:
Type: Full-time position.
Hours: Available shifts between Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.

We are excited to announce that this coming Wednesday we will be opening our doors.

There will be 18 covered driving range bays with Toptracer technology and club rental available. These will be largely walk-in only with the bookable bays coming in the next few months. A nine hole mini golf course is also ready to be conquered. The pro shop and retail space is stocked with The Iron Yard merchandise as well as plenty of golf-related hardware for beginners and experts alike. The The Hidden Cafe will also be open between 9am - 9pm, with The Iron Yard also offering adult beverages from 11am onwards.

Please use the new entrance 50m to the north of the existing one from Wednesday onwards. A second carpark is also available on site.

Our standard opening hours will be 9am - 9pm everyday, except Mondays, when our opening hours will be 11am - 9pm. For the next month, The Iron Yard will be open everyday, except Tuesday 27 January, Monday 2 February and Monday 9 February.

Thank you all for your patience so far, and whilst we hope there won't be too many teething issues - please also be patient with staff as we get this thing going.

To get to Paerata Road in Paerata, you can take the public transport by taking the train to Pukekohe Station and then take a bus that stops at Paerata Road. If you are driving, take the Southern Motorway and exit at Drury off-ramp. From there, head towards Pukekohe and follow the signs to Paerata Road. There is street parking available along Paerata Road or nearby streets.
