We stayed at the Adina Britomart Apartments, and Gloria Jean's was conveniently located right next door. What started as grabbing a coffee on our first morning quickly became our daily routine because it was just that good.
The coffee was absolutely amazing. I'd been told before coming to New Zealand that it was hard to find a good coffee, but Gloria Jean's proved that completely wrong! Every cup was consistently excellent, and the food was just as impressive. We ended up eating breakfast there almost every morning because everything was so fresh and delicious.
The biggest reason we'll remember this place, though, is Melissa. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly from day one. She was fantastic with my kids, always making them laugh and taking the time to chat with us. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and creates such a warm, inviting atmosphere.
As tourists, it's the people you meet that often make a trip memorable, and Melissa absolutely did that for us. She genuinely made our stay in Auckland even more special.
Thank you, Melissa, for your wonderful hospitality. We can't wait to come back next time we're in Auckland!
